We enhanced ‘The Future is Man Made’ campaign by creating a portal for an active online dialogue, connecting WWF’s endangered species focus with taking action to tackle climate change.
The campaign was successfully launched by WWF-Australia with award winning print and banner advertisements from Leo Burnett. WWF asked Digital Eskimo to find a way to harness the enthusiasm of campaign followers by creating a portal for an active online dialogue. The campaign was a success in terms of awareness and had helped connect the WWF’s species conservation focus with the need to deal with climate change.
Realising that the essence of the campaign was about taking ownership of our own actions, we proposed a blog style website that was about storytelling. Inspired by Ezio Manzini’s work on everyday sustainability and our own research conducted for the project we we envisaged a space for community of future makers sharing their personal ideas and stories as they became more sustainable in their own lives.
