Digital Eskimo played a part in supporting the Raise The Bar campaign that changed NSW legislation that had put a stranglehold on opening small bars and providing live entertainment in small venues.
Digital Eskimo provided branding, design and our campaign engine and initial funding to the Raise The Bar project. It was a runaway success: making it possible for NSW to develop its own unique bar culture by changing the licensing laws that made it extremely difficult for certain ’smaller’ bars to open and provide live entertainment.
Amongst the clever and cheeky campaign actions were the 7,500 virtual drinks sent by campaign members and a chardonnay-sipping sit-in outside Parliament House. Read more about the campaign wins here.
