We designed a website for The Garvan Institute of Medical Research to communicate the quality of research whilst engaging users with a ‘human face’.
The Garvan Institute of Medical Research is one of Australia’s largest autonomous medical research institutions with over four hundred scientists, students and support staff. The Institute is internationally recognised as a leader in gene-based medical research and is committed to delivering new insights into major diseases and novel ways to prevent and treat these disorders.
Through our considered design process we devised a website that delivers on a number of communication goals to a range of stakeholders. The site communicates the quality of the research at Garvan while showing the human face of the organisation. It delivers detailed information for the scientific community, a focused donations ask and meets corporate supporter needs all while being easy to navigate and inspiring to read.
