Climate Friendly, one of the first Australian carbon off-setters, asked us to rework their website to update the look and feel.
Together we developed the world’s most comprehensive online carbon offsetting tool, Climate Friendly’s Corporate Carbon Portal. We gave the carbon calculator user interface a makeover which helped result in a steady sales increase from the 2007 site launch. We also completely overhauled the site’s carbon calculators, after determining the old designs were a huge barrier to successful sales on the website.
We supported the launch with an advertisement in the high profile Earth Hour magazine and followed this up with ongoing improvements until Climate Friendly were able to become self-sufficient and maintain the website. The new site saw sales double in the year following the relaunch. Macquarie Bank invested heavily in Climate Friendly the following year and the company was ranked number one offset provider in Australia in 2008.
