Digital Eskimo is hosting a series of free talks by passionate people who are realising sustainable ideas through their work.
We invite you to a talk and Q&A session with Sherre DeLys and Kate Gauld, the Producing team for POOL. It will be a relaxed and fun night with tasty food, wine and beer.
When: Thursday July 23, 6pm
Where: L2, 44 Foster St, Surry Hills, Sydney
RSVP: Tuesday July 20 to kb@digitaleskimo.net
POOL is a space where anyone can contribute their own creative content, remix the ABC’s and each other’s work, and generate ideas to explore the future of the ABC. POOL is facing challenges that are relevant to the whole media industry, and is opening up exciting opportunities for nurturing a creative culture.
Sherre and Kate will touch on the possibilities POOL has opened up at the intersection of broadcasting and participatory media. There will be an opportunity to discuss the Creative Commons licensing system, engaging people to contribute to an online collaboration space, and the editorial challenge of managing user generated content.
