Liam King

Unsure what to do with a degree in Medieval History, Liam stuck around at university to graduate with a masters degree in Web Journalism. It turned out to be a smart move. Since then he has been an online copywriter, web editor, web producer, the user experience bloke, evaluation ninja, wannabe techy… he really should learn to say ‘no’ to people.

Before leaving his native Blighty, Liam was doing his web thing in the Whitehall corridors of power with a stint at the UK Parliament. He spent over two years with the British Foreign Office web team working on a range of big issues such as climate change, human rights and conflict prevention. He was senior editor for the main Foreign Office site (where Brits go to get travel advice) and coordinated the site launch for the London G20 global economic crisis summit. All the other Eskimos think he is some kind of MI6 spy. Little do they know!

In 2009 it was time to put down tools, throw on a backpack and see some of the world. After five incredible months of South American jungle treks, scary chicken-buses and altitude sickness, Liam found his way to Sydney (and Digital Eskimo).
