Catherine Marshall

Chief Wellbeing Officer

Since graduating from Macquarie University with a BA Media Cultural Studies, Catherine has taught English in Japan, assisted on a grazier property in NW NSW and spent time as the Visual Merchandiser for General Pants Co. in the QVB. This seemingly random career path has provided her with a unique skill set serendipitously perfect for her future role at Digital Eskimo.

Through Digital Eskimo, Catherine not only returned to her roots in sustainability, but through her holistic approach she quickly developed her role into what is now titled Chief Wellbeing Officer.

Digital Eskimo has also grown Catherine’s philanthropic side, providing her with the time, space and resources to host small charity events such as RSPCA Cupcake Day and to run food and clothing drives for local organisations such as the Asylum Seekers Centre in Surry Hills. Catherine’s main focus this year has been with the Rough Edges Community Centre in Darlinghurst where she volunteers twice a month, coordinates cooking volunteers from St Marks Darling Point and was most recently involved in the placement of a new community garden for the centre.

Much to her joy, Catherine’s main objectives at work each day are to care for the people around her and to minimise Digital Eskimo’s carbon footprint through research, procurement and internal systems development. As Digital Eskimo’s Chief Wellbeing officer, she proudly remains the instigator of great experiences in the Igloo and co-designer of a workspace that reflects and inspires creativity and a passion for nurturing the environment.
